I recently stayed at a charming apartment in Chartres for 2 nights. The location was quiet and just a 10-minute walk from the stunning cathedral. The apartment had a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, and a lovely balcony. The host was incredibly friendly and provided us with great recommendations for local restaurants. The highlight of our stay was the unexpected son et lumiere show that illuminated the cathedral each evening.
Totally recommend this hotel.

Lovely location, just a short walk from the famous cathedral. The host was very welcoming and provided us with helpful information for our stay. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and in a safe building. We especially liked the balcony, although we couldn't enjoy it due to the rain. The local bus stop was conveniently located right in front of the apartment, making it easy to explore the area. There was also a nice bar and restaurant within a 5-minute walk.
The entry arrangements could have been better managed. We were asked to call ahead of time but had trouble reaching the host.

Loved having a balcony to pretend I was a sophisticated French lady. Free parking made me feel like a VIP. WiFi? Nah, who needs it when you can disconnect and pretend it's the 1800s.
The lack of WiFi gave me the perfect excuse to avoid work and escape reality. Such a shame.

I had a wonderful stay at an apartment in Chartres. the location was quiet and only a 10, minute walk from the cathedral. the host, Jmarc, was welcoming and provided great recommendations for restaurants. the apartment itself was well, sized, comfortable, and nicely appointed. I especially enjoyed the small balcony and the convenience of on, site parking. the kitchen was well, equipped, the shower had good water pressure, and the bed was very comfy. One highlight of my stay was witnessing the amazing Chartres Illuminated light show in the evening. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 😊.

We stayed in a cozy apartment with a small balcony on the 4th floor. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location was perfect, only a 10-minute walk to the impressive Cathedral. We were pleasantly surprised by the captivating son et lumiere show in the evenings. Additionally, the town of Chartres surrounding the Cathedral was absolutely charming.
Although the apartment was wonderful, the entry arrangements were poorly managed. We had to wait for someone to let us in, and there was confusion about the property we had booked.

The host is friendly and provides helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The balcony is a nice bonus for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Parking is available on-site, which is convenient for those traveling by car.
It can be a bit noisy at night due to the road nearby.
